What does treatment involve?

A thin epilating needle is passed through the skin into the dilated vein and a small electrical current is passed through the needle.  The cauterizes the vessel.  Over time, the body reabsorbs the cauterized vessel.  The treated lesion will gradually fade or diminish. In many cases, smaller vessels are eliminated in 1 to 2 treatments. Medium or larger vessels may take additional treatments.
