What Is Xeomin®?
Xeomin® is similar to Botox®, containing the same protein as Botox®. Xeomin® is used to improve the appearance of frown lines between your eyes, crow’s feet, horizontal lines on your forehead, and upper lip lines. Results are usually apparent within three days and last for three to six months.
How Does It Work?
The active ingredient in Xeomin® effectively relaxes the muscles on your face that cause wrinkles to appear. The result is a smoother, lifted appearance. You’ll see results within three to five days, and the treatment is effective for three to six months.
Why Is Xeomin® Different?
Xeomin® is similar to Botox® and Dysport®, but it’s formulated a little differently. It doesn’t contain the protein additives that come with the other two treatments. That means it may work in the small group of patients who have stopped responding to Botox® or Dysport®. Xeomin® is also highly effective if you’ve never had an anti-aging treatment like Botox®.
What About Side Effects?
