Dr. Laura Rosenzweig joins Darst Dermatology as a board-certified dermatologist with specialized fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery and skin cancer reconstruction. She cares for patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults, addressing a wide range of skin conditions.
A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Rosenzweig earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. She completed her dermatology residency at a large metropolitan hospital, gaining extensive experience in both complex, life-threatening skin diseases and common chronic conditions. During residency, she completed externships at the National Institutes of Health and the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology and served as chief resident in her final year.
Dr. Rosenzweig went on to complete an American College of Mohs Surgery fellowship. Her advanced training focused on precisely identifying and removing skin cancer while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible, followed by reconstruction of the treated area.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Rosenzweig’s commitment to education and community service includes teaching medical residents, volunteering, and participating in free skin cancer screenings.
