Darst Dermatology offers Latisse® to the residents of Charlotte, Matthews, and the surrounding North Carolina communities:
What Is Latisse®?
Just like the rest of your face, your eyelashes show signs of aging. They get thinner and shorter as you grow older. Latisse® is a prescription medication that’s been proven to regrow your lashes within two to three months.
How Does It Work?
You apply Latisse® to your upper eyelid every night, similar to applying eyeliner. When you close your eyes to sleep, the medication migrates to your lower eyelid and coats the roots of your lower lashes as well. Over the first eight weeks, you will notice increased length. Over the second eight weeks, you will notice increased volume. After your lashes reach their full length and thickness, you’ll still continue using Latisse® every night.
Are There Any Side Effects?
Redness, discomfort, itching, and dryness may occur when using Latisse®. Because it causes hair growth, avoid contact with other parts of your face.
